Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of patient care technician, CNA, or floor support experience preferred
• CNA or PCT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience supporting adult patients in a rehabilitation, med-surg, or acute care setting preferred
• Comfort working in a team-oriented environment with a patient ratio of approximately 10:1
• Ability to work with patient lifts, workstations on wheels, and electronic health record documentation systems
• Strong communication, reliability, and a patient-centered attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care support to adult patients recovering from complex medical and rehabilitation conditions
• Assist with activities of daily living, mobility support, and general comfort care
• Take and report vital signs and promptly communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support registered nurses and clinical staff with routine patient care and therapeutic mobility needs
• Use patient lifts and other assistive equipment safely and appropriately
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and supportive inpatient rehab environment
• Document care activities accurately in the electronic health record system
• Contribute to a positive, team-based culture focused on recovery, safety, and patient progress
