• Patient Population: Adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients ages 13+
• Charting System: UDS and Epic

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Prior inpatient rehab or skilled nursing facility experience required
• Experience with neuro, orthopedic, debility, and cardiac rehabilitation patients preferred
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy best practices in an acute rehab or IRF setting
• Strong teamwork, communication, work ethic, and professionalism
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with a focus on improving activities of daily living and functional independence
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans of care
• Work with patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions
• Use advanced rehab equipment and therapy tools as part of patient care
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team to support recovery goals
• Document patient progress accurately and consistently in the electronic medical record
• Promote a positive, encouraging experience for patients and families throughout the rehabilitation process
