• Employment Type: Travel MRI Technologist
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:00)
• Shift Duration: 10 Hour Days
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,280
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Schedule Notes: Weekend call may be required (weekends only, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
• Preferred Start: October 2026

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• California Radiologic Technologist certification required
• ARRT(R) required
• ARRT(MR) preferred
• BLS certification required
• California IV certification preferred prior to start
• Experience in a hospital, community hospital, or acute care imaging setting preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with a focus on quality, safety, and patient comfort
• Operate GE 1.5 MRI equipment in a hospital imaging unit
• Complete exams involving neuro, musculoskeletal, abdomen, MRCP, and breast imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast media when indicated
• Assist with peripheral IV starts as needed and support safe imaging workflows
• Maintain accurate imaging techniques and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with the care team to support efficient patient flow and timely imaging services
• Follow established safety protocols and uphold professional standards in every interaction
