• Schedule: Rotating day/evening/night shifts with weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge coverage as needed
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Weekly Hours: 36 to 48 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,090 - $2,200

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience required
• Current New York State RN license required
• Orthopedic nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma facility preferred
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to orthopedic trauma, spine surgery, and elective orthopedic patients
• Monitor patients using telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Support rotating shift coverage, including weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, effective patient care
• Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining strong clinical, documentation, and communication standards
