Job Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and commitment to patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, compassionate nursing care based on established standards
• Monitor patients with neuromusculoskeletal and med-surg needs, including telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate with the nurse manager and interdisciplinary team to support quality patient outcomes
• Deliver service excellence through safe, timely, and thorough bedside care
• Support professional development, evidence-based practice, and clinical best practices
• Take on expanded responsibilities as needed, including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee participation
• Respond to unit needs with flexibility in scheduling and patient assignments
