• Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with on-call/callback, holidays, and weekends as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,040-$1,110

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech or Anesthesia Technician
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital and perioperative surgical environment
• Preferred: Registry certification by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists or another nationally recognized certifying body
• Preferred: Formal technical training, allied health education, or related college coursework
• Strong communication, teamwork, troubleshooting, and clinical support skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare anesthesia equipment, monitors, medications, and supplies prior to patient arrival
• Maintain cleanliness of anesthesia equipment and ensure specialized supplies are available throughout the day
• Assist anesthesia clinicians with difficult intubations and central line catheter placement
• Operate the cell-saver machine and support advanced surgical cases, including cardiac, liver transplant, vascular, thoracic, and trauma procedures
• Provide primary support for equipment readiness, preventive maintenance, setup, and advanced troubleshooting
• Test and calibrate equipment such as infusion pumps, nerve stimulators, defibrillators, transport monitors, and anesthesia machines
• Set up rooms and carts between cases and provide full-service end-of-day setup
• Support out-of-OR anesthesia procedures and ensure specialized equipment is ready when needed
• Assist with staff training and in-service education
• Provide backup support to the shift supervisor and perform additional duties as assigned
