• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (0645 to 1915)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours following the first week of orientation
• Shifts per Week: Typically 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910-$2,010
• Floating: May float to other medical-surgical units as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Active Hawaii RN license required by the start of the assignment
• BLS and ACLS required
• Experience with med-surg, cardiac stepdown, or telemetry patient care preferred
• Comfort working with common inpatient tools and systems such as EMR documentation, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Preferred certifications include PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting and adapt to floating assignments

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult cardiac stepdown and med-surg patients
• Monitor patients closely and respond promptly to changes in clinical status
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support coordinated patient care
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Assist with therapies and procedures commonly used in inpatient care settings
• Maintain professionalism and deliver excellent bedside care across assigned units
• Adapt to floating needs between medical and surgical units when required
