• Floating: May float to all 3 ICUs and the ED for holds

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of recent Critical Care / ICU experience
• At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty is required
• Permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Must be able to complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate during orientation
• Must be comfortable floating to related ICU and ED hold areas
• Travel nurses must be eligible to meet all compliance and screening requirements prior to start

Medical ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Medical ICU setting
• Monitor critically ill patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with best practices
• Document assessments, care plans, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Support safe patient flow while maintaining strong clinical standards
• Adapt to floating assignments as needed within ICU and ED hold areas
