• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,210 - $2,380
• Patient Volume: Approximately 20-30 patients per day
• Charting System: Epic
• Call: Not required

Radiation Therapist Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• State and national certification required
• ARRT certification required
• Experience with electronic medical records and charting systems required; Epic experience preferred
• Compact license must be in hand at submission, if applicable
• Ability to work with adult and pediatric patients across all age groups
• Must be comfortable with radiation safety practices and acute care hospital workflows
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of offer
• References required during the compliance process prior to start

Radiation Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments in a hospital-based oncology setting
• Perform treatment setup, verification, and imaging with attention to accuracy and patient safety
• Use advanced techniques such as IMRT, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, tumor localization, and custom shielding as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the oncology care team to ensure smooth daily patient flow and compassionate care
• Calculate and deliver prescribed radiation doses according to established protocols
• Maintain a strong focus on radiation safety, infection control, and patient comfort
• Support a positive patient experience while working in a busy, fast-paced healthcare environment
• Adapt to department needs and maintain flexibility within the scheduled travel assignment
