Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of NICU nursing experience required
• Full-time Level III NICU experience required
• Level IV NICU experience strongly preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; pending license accepted with timely validation before start
• BLS and NRP required
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certificate required; may be submitted pending
• Epic EHR experience required
• Strong experience with high-frequency ventilation, conventional ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, iNO, tracheostomy care, IV drips, hemodynamic support, whole-body cooling, and post-op care
• Ability to float within scope to newborn, postpartum, pediatrics, and PICU-related newborn/infant care areas
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, family-centered nursing care to critically ill neonates and infants in a Level III NICU
• Monitor and manage complex respiratory support, including HFV, ventilators, NIPPV/NIMV, CPAP/BiPAP, and iNO
• Administer medications, calculate neonatal dosages, and manage IV fluids and drips safely
• Support admissions, assessments, lab draws, IV placement, and line care
• Assist with procedures such as intubation, lumbar punctures, PICC placement, umbilical line placement, and chest tube placement
• Care for infants with prematurity, respiratory distress, sepsis, cardiac anomalies, neurologic disorders, and surgical needs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated neonatal care
• Float to designated newborn and infant care areas as needed while staying within scope of practice
