• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 - $1,940
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Floating: Required within scope to newborn care, postpartum, labor & delivery support, pediatrics, and PICU infant care as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license; pending license accepted as long as it is in hand before start
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience required
• Full-time Level III NICU experience required; Level IV NICU experience is strongly preferred
• BLS and NRP required
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certificate required; may be submitted pending
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong experience with neonatal critical care procedures, equipment, and patient monitoring
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and select holidays as scheduled
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care for neonates and infants in a high-acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and support patients requiring advanced respiratory and hemodynamic management
• Assist with intubation, lumbar punctures, PICC placement, umbilical line placement, and chest tube placement
• Manage ventilators, high-frequency ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP, NIPPV/NIMV, and nitric oxide therapy
• Perform admissions, IV placement, lab draws, medication calculations, and fluid management
• Deliver care for patients requiring whole body cooling, ostomy care, wound/drain/line care, and post-op support
• Float to related neonatal and pediatric areas within scope of practice when needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote the best outcomes for patients and families
