Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience required
• Full-time Level III NICU experience required; Level IV NICU experience is highly preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; pending license accepted with required timing before start
• BLS and NRP required
• Dr. Brown’s Infant Driven Feeding Certificate required; may be completed if pending at submission
• Strong Epic charting experience required
• Experience with high-acuity neonatal care and complex respiratory support strongly preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday coverage as scheduled
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to neonates and infants in a high-volume NICU
• Monitor and manage patients with complex diagnoses including prematurity, respiratory distress, sepsis, cardiac anomalies, and neurologic conditions
• Support advanced therapies such as high-frequency ventilation, conventional ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, iNO, and whole-body cooling
• Assist with admissions, IV placement, lab draws, wound and line care, ostomy care, and medication calculations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, family-centered neonatal care
• Float within scope to related pediatric, postpartum, L&D, and PICU areas as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit-specific clinical protocols in Epic
• Deliver calm, compassionate care in a fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environment
