• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, approximately 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call: On-call coverage with a 30-minute response time required
• Weekends/Holidays: As needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,170 - $2,290
• Setting: General Operating Room

Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work 5x8 day shifts, on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Comfortable caring for adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a surgical environment
• Ability to complete pre-start onboarding and required modules

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room across a variety of surgical specialties
• Prepare the OR for cases, including equipment checks, supplies, and sterile setup
• Support surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team during procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and follow universal protocol and patient safety standards
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process and respond to changing needs
• Document accurately in the electronic health record
• Assist with call coverage, weekends, holidays, and floating as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to promote efficient, safe patient care
