• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Shift Schedule: Weekend nights, Saturday through Monday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Orientation: 2-day orientation during the first week of the assignment
• Location: Kansas City, KS 66160
• Weekend Requirement: Required
• Holiday Requirement: As needed based on unit needs
• Floating: May float to connected imaging areas as needed

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Radiology Technologist experience in a high-acuity hospital setting
• Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiology Technology program
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT certification required
• Kansas state board credential required at time of submission
• Ability to use computer systems to perform patient testing and retrieve quality and performance data
• New graduates are not eligible for this assignment

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Support patient care across interventional radiology, outpatient, portable, emergency department, and surgical settings
• Deliver accurate, timely imaging to help guide diagnosis and treatment
• Document patient testing and retrieve data to support quality monitoring and performance improvement needs
• Adapt to weekend night scheduling and occasional holiday coverage
• Float to connected imaging locations to help maintain smooth department workflow
