• Position: Radiologic Technologist / Travel Radiology Tech
• Setting: Orthopedic outpatient imaging clinic
• Location: Boise, Idaho 83702
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 - $2,140
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts with variable scheduling between Monday and Friday, typically within 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Schedule: Monday through Friday; no weekends, holidays, call, or standby
• Orientation: One day with an educator, plus one week in the sports area for workflow and system training
• Setting Highlights: Team-based culture, dual x-ray rooms, collaborative support from staff and providers, and a steady orthopedic imaging workflow

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of radiology, diagnostic imaging, or related imaging experience required
• 3+ years of radiologic technologist experience strongly preferred
• Orthopedic imaging experience preferred
• Experience with weightbearing orthopedic x-rays preferred
• Ambulatory clinic or outpatient imaging experience preferred
• Carestream Compass/Fit experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ARRT(R) certification required
• Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to a busy, variable clinic flow

Responsibilities

• Perform orthopedic x-ray studies with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism
• Complete weightbearing films and orthopedic imaging packages, including leg length and scoliosis studies
• Support a specialty-specific pod and work within assigned rooms based on orientation assessment
• Produce diagnostic imaging for a wide range of orthopedic studies while excluding soft tissue, abdomen, and chest work
• Use EPIC and Change Healthcare systems for charting, imaging workflow, and patient documentation
• Collaborate with fellow radiologic technologists, leadership, and providers to maintain smooth patient flow
• Deliver high-quality images in a setting where each technologist typically performs 15-25 studies per day
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and contribute to a positive, team-centered healthcare culture
