Job Details

• Position: MICU Registered Nurse / Medical Intensive Care Unit RN
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Setting: 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU within a Level III Trauma Center
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Start Date: 10/18/2026

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of continuous MICU experience preferred and required for consideration
• 2+ years of adult ICU experience in a single clinical setting
• Ability to read telemetry strips with confidence
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and adaptability in high-acuity critical care settings
• Comfort working rotating or adjusted schedules as needed for unit coverage
• Experience with EPIC charting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, skilled nursing care for critically ill adult patients in the MICU
• Monitor and respond to changing patient conditions in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Interpret telemetry rhythms and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with attendings, residents, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Deliver care for a wide range of ICU diagnoses, including sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, DKA, GI bleed, renal failure, overdose, and cardiogenic shock
• Float to medical/surgical areas as needed while maintaining excellent patient care standards
• Document accurately and efficiently in EPIC
• Support patient safety, clinical excellence, and positive outcomes throughout the assignment
