Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2+ years of continuous MICU, Adult ICU, or critical care nursing experience
• Ability to read telemetry strips confidently
• Experience working in a high-acuity intensive care setting
• Strong flexibility to float to medical/surgical units as needed
• Comfort using EPIC preferred
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to critically ill adult patients in the MICU
• Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythm changes, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients with complex diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, GI bleed, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and other critical conditions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, residents, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer medications, complete thorough assessments, and maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
• Support safe patient flow and provide care in float assignments when needed
• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, team-oriented ICU environment
