Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Tele or a closely related acute care specialty
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference in the specialty from within the past 12 months
• Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Willingness to work rotating days/nights and at least every other holiday
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess changes in patient condition, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Administer medications, complete treatments, and support safe patient recovery
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and efficiently in the medical record
• Promote patient safety, comfort, education, and continuity of care throughout the nursing assignment
• Adapt to changing patient assignments and support workflow across the acute care unit
