• Location: Frederick, Maryland
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Contract Duration: 19 weeks
• Start Date: 10/21/2026
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Call: Not required
• Holiday Requirement: Must work two of the three winter holidays

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a Compact license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Acute care nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current EFM certification required at time of submission
• Experience with antepartum care and electronic fetal monitoring preferred
• Strong charting system experience required
• Must be comfortable with postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patient care
• Ability to complete pre-start modules and meet compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Mother/Baby nursing care to postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients
• Support couplet care and newborn assessment services in a family-centered environment
• Float to Labor & Delivery as needed to support LDRP needs
• Perform antepartum and postpartum cross-training as part of the role
• Monitor patient conditions, assess newborns, and support safe transitions for mother and baby
• Educate and support parents with breastfeeding, newborn care, discharge teaching, and recovery guidance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide coordinated, compassionate care
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit standards for safety and quality care
