• Schedule: Day shift, typically 3x12-hour shifts (08:30 - 21:00); scheduling options may be discussed during interview
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,220 - $1,310
• Charting System: EPIC

Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of OR Tech experience required; 2 years preferred
• Strong neuro experience required in the operating room
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• NBSTSA or NCCT preferred
• Experience with electronic charting systems required; EPIC experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and support a variety of surgical procedures
• Must complete required pre-start modules and orientation requirements
• Negative 10-panel drug screen and nicotine screening required

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical support for a broad range of cases, including general surgery, ortho, neuro, ENT, vascular, plastics, gyn, urology, and robotics
• Prepare and maintain a sterile, safe operating room environment
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team with instrumentation, supplies, and intraoperative needs
• Support first assist and CVOR-related procedures as needed within scope
• Follow fire safety, aseptic technique, laser safety, radiation safety, sharps safety, and universal protocol standards
• Handle specimen labeling, sterilization/disinfection, and surgical safety procedures with accuracy
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and help support sister facilities if required
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to patient-centered surgical care
