Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Current RRT credential required; CRT will not be accepted
• Experience in adult med/surg, adult critical care, and general pediatric respiratory care
• Travel experience required
• Experience with Trauma Level II patients required
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
• Flu vaccination required, with approved exemptions or declinations allowed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with a broad patient population

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care across the hospital, including critical care, pediatric, and adult patient populations
• Support neonatal, NICU, and pediatric services with advanced ventilation and airway management
• Perform respiratory treatments, bronchodilator therapy, suctioning, and oxygen delivery setup
• Assist with intubation, extubation, and airway management procedures
• Manage mechanical ventilation, including weaning support and troubleshooting alarms
• Collect and interpret blood gases and support point-of-care testing workflows
• Work with specialty equipment such as Jet ventilation, oscillatory ventilation, and NIV devices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, effective care for a broad patient census
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide compassionate patient-centered service
