• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts, full time, with every other weekend
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,820 - $1,910
• Orientation: 36 hours, with bi-weekly orientations
• Patient Population: Adult patients
• Local Candidates: Accepted within 75 miles at a lower rate

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Active NC or Compact RN license in hand
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• At least 1 supervisory reference from within the last year
• Must be able to work scheduled weekends as needed
• Flu vaccination required; no exemptions or declinations accepted
• RTO must be submitted with the application and limited to 5-7 days maximum
• Candidate must be responsive during compliance review and meet onboarding deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to adult Med/Surg Tele patients
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in cardiac rhythms and patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and unit protocols
• Manage common Med/Surg Tele skills such as IV therapy, oxygen support, cardiac drips, wound care, and dysrhythmia monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Support patient safety, communication, and timely escalation of clinical concerns
• Adapt to a fast-paced telemetry nursing environment while maintaining professionalism and teamwork
