Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of project management experience required; construction project management and renovation project experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing facility improvement, infrastructure, capital improvement, or building renovation projects
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication
• Ability to coordinate architects, engineers, general contractors, consultants, vendors, and operational teams
• Understanding of regulatory compliance, safety standards, building codes, ADA requirements, and quality assurance practices
• Experience working in healthcare facilities, higher education, research, or similarly complex operational environments preferred
• PMP certification preferred
• Strong written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead construction and renovation projects from concept development through design, construction, occupancy, and closeout
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource plans
• Serve as the primary liaison among stakeholders, leadership, consultants, contractors, and vendors
• Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, status updates, and executive communications
• Review drawings, specifications, estimates, and project documentation to ensure alignment with operational goals
• Support procurement, bid review, contractor selection, and contract-related activities
• Monitor project performance, track risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Oversee construction activities, inspections, commissioning efforts, and transition planning for completed spaces
• Manage budgets, forecasts, expenditures, change orders, and financial reporting
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations and organizational standards
• Coordinate occupancy, move management, equipment installation, and post-project operational readiness activities
• Maintain accurate project records including schedules, permits, meeting minutes, status reports, and action items
