In this travel RN role, you will care for patients with complex neurologic conditions such as traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, stroke, and status epilepticus. Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU acute care nursing experience
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• NIHSS certification required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to stay current in critical care practices and standards

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill neuro patients in a medical/surgical ICU
• Monitor and manage complex neurologic conditions and rapidly changing patient status
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to ICU protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Perform thorough assessments, document accurately, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Support patient care needs related to trauma, aneurysm, stroke, seizures, and other critical neurologic diagnoses
• Contribute to a team-based environment focused on safety, quality, and compassionate care
