Job Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work overnight hospital shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow patient safety, HIPAA, and Joint Commission guidelines

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care and bedside support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Assist with daily activities and support a safe, clean, and patient-focused care environment
• Help maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Support menu management and patient diet coordination as needed
• Prepare, assemble, deliver, and retrieve patient menus and selections according to prescribed diets
• Update diet changes and ensure labels and nourishment items align with current orders
• Communicate patient care and food service issues to the appropriate department
• Assist with clerical duties such as answering phones, faxing, filing, and photocopying
• Help with trayline, food service, or catering support when needed
• Perform additional duties to keep the unit running smoothly and efficiently
