Job Details

• Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, typically 3x12s
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,890 - $1,990
• Start Date: ASAP

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience is highly desired
• 2 years of bedside clinical experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused healthcare environment

RN Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments within the required timeframe and use findings to guide individualized care plans
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
• Support patient and family education throughout the stay, including discharge planning from admission
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time in the medical record
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the care team to support continuity and patient safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support rehabilitation, recovery, and quality outcomes
• Delegate and coordinate with ancillary nursing staff as appropriate
• Promote a safe, organized, and positive care environment for patients, families, and coworkers
