Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in the applicable state
• Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience required
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Experience with rehabilitation or long-term acute care patients preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within the first 8 hours of admission
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Communicate patient status updates during team conferences and shift handoffs
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices
• Support patient and family education related to diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary care team members
• Supervise and delegate appropriately to ancillary nursing staff
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with policy
• Promote patient safety, staff safety, and a positive unit culture
• Contribute to discharge planning and continuity of care from day one
