Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Current Respiratory Therapist credential/license in good standing
• Experience with mechanical ventilation, oxygen delivery systems, and aerosol therapies
• Ability to perform patient assessments, document care accurately, and communicate effectively with the care team
• Comfort working night shifts and supporting a fast-paced inpatient environment
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions
• Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans
• Administer ventilatory support, oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and humidification therapies
• Perform suctioning, chest physiotherapy, oximetry, capnography, and arterial punctures as needed
• Assist with tracheostomy care, airway management, and respiratory-related procedures
• Operate, maintain, and monitor respiratory equipment according to policy and best practices
• Document treatments, patient responses, and pertinent charting accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to promote positive patient outcomes
