• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,270 - $7,420
• Patient Volume: Approximately 25 patient encounters per shift
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 days
• Trauma Level: Level III
• Board Certification: Board certified required
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required

Job Requirements

• MD or DO with active physician certification
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Obstetrics & Gynecology experience required
• Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Experience managing low-risk and high-risk pregnancies
• Proficiency in fetal heart rate interpretation, including NST/CST/FSE
• Ability to perform and interpret OB ultrasounds, including Level I and Level II studies
• Skilled in amniocentesis, routine vaginal delivery, low forceps delivery, and cesarean decision-making
• Comfortable managing complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
• Competency in repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• ACLS and BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for patients across a broad acuity range
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies
• Interpret fetal monitoring studies and ultrasound findings to support safe patient care
• Perform routine and complex deliveries, including management of emergent obstetric situations
• Respond to labor and delivery needs, including cesarean decision-making and complication management
• Perform OB procedures such as amniocentesis and repair significant lacerations when indicated
• Collaborate with the care team to promote efficient, high-quality patient outcomes
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment
