• Position: Ultrasound Tech / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Setting: Hospital-based diagnostic imaging
• Employment Type: Travel healthcare assignment
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 13, 2026
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150 - $2,310
• Schedule Highlights: No call, no weekends, and no holidays
• Location: Yuma, Colorado

Job Requirements

• Current ARRT certification
• Current ARDMS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current compliance with continuing medical education (CME) requirements
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong clinical judgment
• Experience with general ultrasound exams, including abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, and vascular/arterial studies
• Ability to communicate diagnostic information clearly and professionally
• Strong patient care, teamwork, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound exams in a hospital imaging department
• Work independently while delivering accurate, high-quality imaging results
• Evaluate and communicate findings to the referring physician and radiologist
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout all imaging procedures
• Troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and communicate repair needs to service personnel
• Support related diagnostic radiology procedures as needed
• Cross-train into additional imaging modalities when appropriate
• Organize daily workflow, assist with scheduling, and complete related clerical tasks
• Build positive working relationships with patients, providers, and the care team
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards
