• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Shifts Per Week: 5
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Schedule Notes: No evenings, no call, and no float. Weekend coverage is self-scheduled as needed, approximately 2-3 weekend days per month.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience preferred; PET/CT experience required
• Associate's degree required
• Current BLS certification required
• CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required; NMTCB accepted
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment
• Traveler must meet applicable compliance requirements prior to start

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures with accuracy and attention to patient safety
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols
• Ensure proper imaging quality and assist with image acquisition and processing
• Provide compassionate care and clear communication to adult patients throughout the imaging process
• Follow radiation safety standards, infection control practices, and departmental procedures
• Collaborate with the care team to support efficient daily workflow and timely imaging services
• Maintain documentation in the electronic health record and uphold all compliance expectations
