• Shift: Day shift, Monday-Friday, no call; 8-10 hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490-$2,670
• Setting: Adult Electrophysiology Lab
• Charting System: GE Healthcare
• Orientation: Pre-start modules required
• Location: Chesapeake, Virginia, in Coastal Virginia near Virginia Beach and Norfolk, with easy access to trails, waterways, and outdoor recreation

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Electrophysiology Lab experience
• ACLS required
• RCES or RCIS required, or registry eligible with relevant EP experience
• Active Virginia or compact license in hand at time of submittal
• Associate degree or higher preferred, along with completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology program toward Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist registry
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with invasive electrophysiology procedures, 3D mapping, EP recording systems, advanced ablation, and cardiac rhythm management programming
• Familiarity with GE Cardio Lab and/or St. Jude WorkMate equipment preferred
• No prior license or background issues accepted
• Ability to complete required EKG testing and pre-start modules
• Flu vaccination required unless approved exemption applies

Responsibilities

• Assist with invasive electrophysiology procedures, including mapping, ablation, and rhythm management support
• Operate and maintain EP lab equipment used for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Support cardiac rhythm management interrogation and programming for multi-vendor devices
• Prepare patients and procedural areas while maintaining sterile technique and safe workflow
• Monitor and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and assist with accurate rhythm interpretation
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team during EP studies, device work, and advanced cardiac interventions
• Maintain equipment, stock supplies, and help ensure readiness of the electrophysiology lab for daily cases
• Contribute to a high-quality patient experience in a team-oriented procedural setting
