Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN), Med/Surg Telemetry
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing / Contract
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Days
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Start Date: 10/23/2026
• Healthcare Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44125 (on-site) - a welcoming Great Lakes city with a strong sense of community and plenty to explore

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS required
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias preferred
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Required certifications must be active and available at submission
• Compliance requirements, background review, and onboarding items must be completed on time

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the shift
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards
• Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate concerns promptly
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit workflows during the assignment
• Participate in orientation, assessments, and required training to remain compliant and successful in the role
