Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Experience caring for a broad range of patients, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, efficient nursing care to Emergency Department patients
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical need
• Perform and monitor emergency interventions including IV starts, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Support care for complex presentations such as stroke, trauma, respiratory distress, chest pain, and behavioral health emergencies
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other clinical support teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold best practices in patient safety and infection prevention
• Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and support a team-based approach to emergency nursing care
