Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing or acute care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Recent EPIC experience required within the last year
• Ability to provide care for both pediatric and adult female patients
• Flexibility to work nights and adapt to changing census and acuity

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in a blended Medical-Surgical environment
• Care for pediatric and adult female patients based on unit needs and patient acuity
• Manage an average assignment of up to 5 patients, depending on census and staffing
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Support patient safety, unit flow, and positive clinical outcomes
• Adapt quickly to fluctuating patient volume, including seasonal RSV surges
• Float when needed based on census and acuity expectations
