• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: May float within the assigned level of care as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU, critical care, or relevant acute care nursing experience
• Active Pennsylvania RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Community hospital experience required
• Strong critical care background with confidence managing high-acuity adult patients
• RTO must be submitted at the time of application
• Valid references and certification copies required
• Pass/fail clinical exam required for clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to ICU patients
• Monitor and manage patients with complex, rapidly changing conditions in a critical care setting
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ICU-level interventions as ordered
• Interpret patient responses, recognize changes in condition, and escalate appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Support patient and family education as appropriate
• Adapt to unit needs and float within the level of care when required
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment while delivering exceptional patient care
