Travel Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania

• Location: Elkins Park, Pennsylvania

• Duration: 8 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend Rotation: Every third weekend
• Call: No call required
• Charting System: Epic
• Setting: Acute inpatient rehabilitation / brain injury rehabilitation
• Floating: May be asked to support other rehabilitation units as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required
• At least 1 year of experience in acute inpatient rehab or an acute rehab hospital setting required
• Epic experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Strong clinical skills supporting adult and geriatric rehabilitation patients
• Ability to work nights, every third weekend, and support a team-based care model

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adults and geriatrics recovering from stroke, brain injury, generalized weakness, and deconditioning
• Complete focused neurological assessments and monitor patient progress throughout the rehabilitation journey
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and best practices
• Support mobility, safety, fall prevention, and skin integrity initiatives
• Collaborate closely with physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams to promote patient recovery goals
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans, mobility support, and activities of daily living
• Document patient care accurately and timely in Epic
• Assist with the use of mobility aids, wound care needs, and rehabilitation-focused interventions
• Contribute to a positive, interdisciplinary environment focused on patient progress and independence
