• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Typical Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, or 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,150
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit Focus: GU, thoracic, gyn, and head & neck oncology
• Weekend/Call: No weekends and no call required
• Floating: May be asked to float within the hospital or nearby affiliate locations

Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license in hand; no pending licenses accepted
• BSN required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience administering chemotherapy and starting IVs
• Strong IV skills and oncology clinic experience
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• ONS and ACLS preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required with no exemptions
• Ability to complete compliance items promptly, as orientation is held once per month

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality oncology nursing care in an outpatient infusion and exam clinic
• Administer chemotherapy safely and accurately according to established protocols
• Start IVs and maintain strong vascular access skills for infusion care
• Support patients with GU, thoracic, gynecologic, and head & neck oncology needs
• Document care efficiently in Epic EMR and maintain accurate clinical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure smooth patient flow
• Adapt quickly to a busy Boston oncology clinic with a daily census of approximately 90 visits
• Float as needed to support patient care across nearby areas when required
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while helping keep the clinic running smoothly
