• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Setting: 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit with couplet care and newborn nursery support as needed
• Patient Population: Neonates and adults
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active Massachusetts RN license in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Beginner
• Travel nursing experience required
• Strong experience supporting labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Experience with fetal monitoring, vaginal delivery support, and postpartum assessments
• Strong communication skills using SBAR
• COVID-19 vaccination required; flu vaccination required with medical exemptions only
• Cerner experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients, mothers, and newborns
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum recovery
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and support safe, timely interventions
• Perform newborn assessments, thermoregulation support, and couplet care
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as appropriate
• Support breastfeeding education, discharge teaching, and parent preparation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote safe patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Follow unit protocols for infection prevention, infant identification, and patient safety
