Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred/required per unit standards
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate during orientation
• Candidate must be available to discuss requested time off during interview and submit it up front

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document care accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient care
• Respond to clinical changes and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support patient education, discharge readiness, and compassionate bedside care
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to patient safety
