• Shift: 10-hour day shifts with variable start times between 5:30 AM and 8:00 AM; shifts typically end between 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,440-$2,570
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with weekend coverage as needed
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license
• 3 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Experience using Epic charting system
• Strong background in pre-op, PACU, Phase II recovery, or perioperative nursing
• Ability to care for a broad range of surgical and procedural patients
• Comfort working variable schedules in a fast-paced outpatient setting

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgical, endoscopy, cath lab, interventional radiology, radiology, and infusion procedures
• Provide Phase II recovery and post-procedure nursing care
• Complete pre-op assessments, patient education, medication review, and consent verification
• Monitor patients receiving procedural sedation and support safe recovery
• Perform circulation checks, pain assessments, IV management, and medication reconciliation
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately in a fast-paced PACU and procedural setting
• Support discharge instructions and follow-up coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold high standards of clinical practice
