• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend/holiday
• Floating: May float to the High-Risk OB unit as needed; additional nearby facility floating may be required within scope of practice

Job Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN license in hand at submission
• 2 to 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience with antepartum, obstetrics, and high-risk maternal patients preferred
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam during orientation
• Epic experience preferred
• Must be willing to work every other weekend and holiday
• Must be able to meet travel nurse compliance requirements, including timely pre-employment labs and documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring and postpartum patients in a high-acuity Labor & Delivery environment
• Monitor patients with antepartum and high-risk obstetric needs
• Support early inductions, continuous fetal monitoring, and related L&D care processes
• Respond effectively to changes in maternal and fetal status
• Collaborate with physicians, OB specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care
• Float to the High-Risk OB unit when needed, staying within scope of practice
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow unit protocols for quality patient care
