Job Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure
• DEA registration required
• ABIM certification in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology preferred
• Experience with coronary interventions and structural heart procedures preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and procedural skills

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterizations and coronary angiography
• Complete percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), including stent placement
• Diagnose and treat acute coronary syndromes and STEMI cases
• Interpret echocardiograms, stress tests, EKGs, and cardiac imaging
• Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations
• Participate in STEMI call coverage and emergency cardiac intervention services
• Collaborate with cardiac surgery, emergency medicine, critical care, and hospitalist teams
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and support quality metrics
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and medical staff initiatives
