Job Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC required
• Proficiency with Epic charting required
• Ability to care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a high-acuity emergency room setting
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ED environment
• First-time travelers are welcome

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Assess, triage, and prioritize Emergency Department patients based on acuity and clinical need
• Administer medications, start IVs, and assist with emergency interventions as needed
• Support care for trauma, stroke, respiratory distress, behavioral health, overdose, and other emergency cases
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced therapies and procedures such as BiPAP/CPAP, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure efficient, coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Float to another campus if needed and adapt to changing department needs
