Job Requirements

• 3 years of Registered Nurse experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Experience in surgical services, pre-op, perioperative nursing, and Phase II recovery in an ambulatory setting
• Pediatric nursing experience required
• Active RN license in New Jersey or a Compact state at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at submission
• Epic experience preferred
• Ability to work 4x10-hour day shifts
• Must be open to floating as needed within the assigned skill set
• Must provide interview availability of 3-5 days with submission
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements apply, with exemptions only as outlined

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate patient care in a busy ambulatory care clinic and post-anesthesia recovery setting
• Complete pre-operative assessments, medication reconciliation, and discharge teaching
• Support perioperative nursing workflows in a high-volume surgical services environment
• Monitor patients during recovery and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Start and maintain IV access, obtain vital signs, and perform routine nursing interventions
• Assist with procedural preparation, consent verification, and follow-up instructions
• Collaborate with the care team to promote smooth patient flow and quality outcomes
• Float within the assigned network locations when needed based on department demand
