• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: As needed within scope
• Orientation: Provided prior to start

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• BLS and NRP required or obtained prior to start
• ACLS and AWHONN Intermediate preferred
• Strong Cerner charting experience required
• Critical Access Hospital experience required
• Experience with low-volume birth settings is highly valued
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• COVID-19 vaccination required with approved medical/religious exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns as appropriate
• Monitor fetal and maternal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and support mothers throughout the birthing process
• Perform newborn assessments and support early postpartum care
• Start and maintain IVs and administer medications and vaccines per protocol
• Follow infection control practices and isolation precautions
• Document care accurately in Cerner and maintain high standards of clinical communication
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support exceptional patient outcomes
• Adapt to a small unit environment and assist with floating as needed within scope
