• Shift: 10-hour day shifts with variable start times from 5:30 AM to 8:00 AM and end times from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, variable days
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,320 - $2,440
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Census: Approximately 50 patients daily
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license
• Minimum 3 years of registered nurse experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Strong background in pre-op assessment, Phase II recovery, and perioperative patient care
• Ability to work variable weekday shifts in a fast-paced outpatient surgery environment
• Comfort caring for a broad patient mix across surgical and procedural services

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care for patients preparing for and recovering from procedures in the PACU and pre-op setting
• Perform pre-op assessments, patient education, and preparation for surgical and procedural patients
• Monitor Phase II recovery patients and support discharge readiness
• Care for patients undergoing endoscopy, cath lab, interventional radiology, radiology, and infusion-related procedures
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient status throughout the perioperative process
• Document thoroughly in Epic and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support efficient patient flow
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout the visit
• Work closely with interdisciplinary partners to deliver coordinated, compassionate care
