Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of recent ER nursing experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
• Ability to work designated holidays as scheduled
• Strong experience caring for patients across the lifespan, including pediatrics and adults
• Cerner experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy, fast-paced ER setting
• Perform triage, patient assessment, and rapid intervention for acute and emergent conditions
• Support care for a broad range of diagnoses, including trauma, respiratory distress, stroke symptoms, psych emergencies, and medical-surgical emergencies
• Manage common ER procedures and skills such as IV starts, EKG acquisition, blood product administration, and dysrhythmia monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, phlebotomy, social services, and rapid response teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols in a high-acuity environment
• Provide compassionate care while adapting quickly to changing patient needs and census demands
