Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing or perioperative nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of surgical workflows, sterile technique, and patient safety practices
• Ability to work evening shifts and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Experience in surgical services, OR patient care, or circulating nurse duties preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Assist with Operating Room preparation, instrument readiness, and sterile field maintenance
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes during perioperative care
• Support surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff to ensure efficient, safe, and timely procedures
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with facility and hospital standards
• Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate, attentive care
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and high-performing OR team environment
