• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 06:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Schedule Type: Block scheduling
• Call Requirement: Call every 5th or 6th weekend and one weekday
• Orientation: 8 hours

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
• Experience as an OR Circulator preferred and expected
• Strong proficiency in orthopedic surgery cases, including total joints
• Experience with general surgery and OB C-sections
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Active RN license in hand or compact license required at submission
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment with strong teamwork skills
• Travel nursing experience is welcome, though not required
• No first-time travelers for this assignment

Responsibilities

• Function as the OR Circulator and support safe, efficient surgical workflow
• Prepare and coordinate care for a variety of surgical cases, including orthopedics, general surgery, OB C-sections, GYN, podiatry, endoscopy, and other procedures
• Maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and adherence to universal protocol throughout the perioperative experience
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure smooth case progression
• Monitor supplies, equipment, and case readiness, including specialized tools such as the Hana Table
• Support care for patients across age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Float to different units as needed to support patient care
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled and contribute to a dependable team environment
